How this site is funded

Every calculator on MyCinemaRoom is free to use, with no account or sign-up required. Running the site costs money, so we cover that through two things: display advertising, and affiliate links.

What an affiliate link is

Where you see a link to a specific retailer or product — for example, in the Gear & Budget tool — some of those links may be affiliate links. If you click through and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission from the retailer. This costs you nothing extra — the price you pay is the same whether or not you use our link.

Our editorial approach

Affiliate relationships never determine what a calculator tells you. If a screen size doesn't fit your room, this site will say so — that math doesn't change based on who's paying for ad space. Where we do name specific products or price ranges, they reflect our own research into typical current market pricing, not which brand pays the highest commission.
